The Built NY hard drive case fits my new Western Digital Passport 500 GB drive perfectly. It stays in place with a hard tray on the backside of the case which helps to protect it. The foldover top is a bit annoying to get off but it keeps the drive in place and you wont worry about it sliding out. It is padded nicely and I think its a great design. I am very happy with it
